Whole Orange Cake



  • -4 oranges (600g)
  • 1.25 tsp baking powder
  • 1.25 cup white sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 2.75 cup almond flour


  • .25 cup @rindsnacks orange chips
  • 1.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 orange, juiced


  1. Bring a pot of water to boil. Drop the oranges in the water and boil for 40 minutes. Preheat oven to 320°F
  2. Remove and place in a food processor and blitz until finely chopped.
  3. Then add almond flour, eggs, baking powder and sugar and blitz until fully combined
  4. Pour into a prepared 9in cake pan and bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
  5. Allow to cool for at least 1 hour or overnight is best.
  6. Place powdered sugar, dried oranges, and orange juice into a standing mixer or using a hand mixer, whisk together until fully smooth
  7. Drizzle over the cake and then decorate with more dried oranges.
